NEWSLETTER N. 6

Celebrating the First 1000 members of the Global Forum
on Food Security and Nutrition Policies and Strategies

The FSN Forum has just surpassed the 1000-member benchmark and we would like to take this opportunity to thank all Forum members for your great support and active participation.

Since its launch in October 2007, the FSN Forum has held 29 e-discussions and shared 576 resource papers, over 40 useful web-links, and 179 news/events. All this has been possible thanks to the drive and dedication of Forum participants, facilitators and experts who have voluntarily put in their time and effort to provide enriching exchanges of information, insights and experiences.

Activities on the Forum's list will be suspended from 22th December 2008 until 5th January 2009 for winter holidays, but our web-based Forum is always available 24/7 for your contributions and comments.

We look forward to hearing from you again in the New Year and hope that together we will contribute more actively to the FSN's goals. Don't forget to watch this space!

Warmest season’s greetings,

The FSN Forum Team

Kostas Stamoulis, coordinator
Huyen Tran, moderator and focal point
